Annual Poinsettia Sale will be conducted during the months of November and December with deliveries beginning November 30, 2009. These beautiful blooms are grown locally by Baack's and are sold at affordable prices. These flowers make beautiful gifts for self, friends, and business acquaintances.

In 2008, MHAA sold and delivered 1,150 poinsettias!

The 2009 Annual Mental Health Luncheon is an annual fundraiser sponsored by the Mental Health Association. The luncheon was held Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at the Abilene Country Club. The event highlighted Mental Health Month, an opportunity for networking, presentation of Outstanding Service Award. Three awards were given this year. Congratulations to David Cory, Bill Gilliland, and receiving the Outstanding Service Award, Dick Spiegel for his service of more than 50 years with the Abilene State School.

Each year, tables for eight are available for sponsorship. Individual tickets are $25 each. To find out about the 2009 Annual Luncheon, contact MHAA for more information about a noon filled with food, fun, and fundraising.

Support Team Drive is an annual fund drive that is usually conducted in the spring of each year. This activity solicits donations from area supporters who are interested in supporting the programs and activities of the MHAA.
